Maximum Deductible Limit

This Provision RESCINDED: In March 2014, Congress passed the "Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014," eliminating the maximum deductible cap that the ACA placed on small employer group health insurance plans.

Although the maximum deductible provision no longer applies to employer-sponsored group health insurance plans, the maximum deductible provision still applies to health insurance plans sold on the individual market or through the Health Insurance Marketplace to individuals.
